MeAndMe.
When you choose a path that doesn't fit with society's norms, the fight is with everyone, including yourself.

If you choose a path that doesn't fit with society’s norms, it’s far from easy. You’ll end up fighting with everyone, even your own family. Your mind will be weighed down by past experiences, and the people you care about the most might not be there anymore. It’s tough when the person who once gave you comfort is gone, and your family can't offer the emotional support you need. Without friends who truly understand you, life feels empty.
On top of all that, you’re expected to manage your studies, work, and daily chores without anyone to lean on. It feels like walking a straight path through pitch-black darkness. You know the way forward, but the obstacles, the people and problems that pull you down and make that darkness even deeper. And there's no promise it’ll ever get lighter.
In moments like these, people often look for an escape from reality. For some, it's anime or music things that temporarily give you the same feeling you had when you were with that special person. But these escapes don’t last forever. Eventually, you return to reality, where there's no one left to hold on to.
For me, I find peace in the thought of Japan. I’m still not sure why, but something about Japan, its old traditions, not the modern world gives me a sense of calm. It's the one thing that keeps me going, even after all the mental stress. It’s like a quiet anchor in my chaotic world, something that stirs a deep reaction in my mind and motivates me to keep pushing forward.
